The Thurmont Food Bank
Anyone from Northern Frederick County who needs food is Welcome!
Weather Policy:
We follow Frederick County Schools; if they close, we will close, too. When weather improves quickly we may open so check this site for updates.
Days we're always closed if they fall on a Tuesday or Friday:
July 4th, the Friday before ColorFest,
the Friday after Thanksgiving,
Dec. 25, 26, 31st and Jan.1st.
Thanksgiving Meals are given out during regular hours on the two Tuesdays and two Fridays before Thanksgiving.
Emergency food is kept in the plastic shed at the corner of the food bank.
Use this if we close due to weather or you can't get to the food bank during regular hours.
